Berwyn Fire Company Fund Drive Underway

BERWYN, PA — The Berwyn Fire Company's Annual Fire Fund Drive is underway and the public is asked to consider giving to the first responders to support their life-saving mission.

"The Berwyn Fire Company responded 3,217 times in 2018, setting an all-time record, for total combined calls for both fire and EMS," the fire company said on its websire. "This is the 4th year since 2014 that our call volume has exceeded over 900 fire responses. In addition, our volunteers and career staff saw an increased call volume for EMS in both Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships compared to the previous year."

The public can make tax-deductible donations to support the volunteers and career staff at BFC.

Donated funds will be put toward major upgrades to modernize the firehouse and make it safe for personnel.
