Berwyn Fire Company Gets $2K-Plus Donation

The recent Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony raised more than $1,000 for the fire company. Eadeh Enterprises then chipped in with $1,00, too.

BERWYN, PA – The Berwyn Fire Company is always on hand to help those in the area during emergency situations. And those dedicated men and women got a sizable donation to help them continue their efforts to keep us safe.

The fire company said on Dec. 7 it was given a more than $2,000 donation from the Berwyn Devon Business Association (BDBA) and Eadeh Enterprises.

Stacey Ballard, from (BDBA) and President of Eadeh Enterprises, presented a $2,141.02 donation to the Berwyn Fire Company, Thursday, Dec. 7.

"This unexpected amount was made possible through citizen donations received at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Berwyn Train Station held last weekend, along with the generous support of Eadeh Enterprises," the fire company said. "The membership greatly appreciates this donation that will directly support the operations of the Company."

Ballard said the community donated a total of $1,141.02 during the event. Eadeh then chipped in another $1,000 to show its support.
