Berwyn Fire Company Gets Pet Oxygen Kit Donation
Good news for local dogs and cats: a pet oxygen kit has been donated to the Berwyn Fire Company.

TREDYFFRIN, PA — Good news for local dogs and cats: a pet oxygen kit has been donated to the Berwyn Fire Company.
Liberty English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers made the donation. They are a national organization that has local roots.
"Thousands of household pets lose their lives in home fires each year," the fire company said in a news release. "The most common cause of death for these animals is smoke inhalation. When the animals are rescued by firefighters, many of them have been saved by high-flow oxygen provided through specially designed oxygen masks."
