Berwyn Resident Elected Vice Chair of Philadelphia PAL

Berwyn resident Lyn Pierce Strickler elected a vice chair of Police Athletic League of Philadelphia

Berwyn resident Lyn Pierce Strickler has been elected a vice chair of the board of directors of the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Philadelphia (www.phillypal.org) .

Strickler is executive vice president/managing director of Harmelin Media, a Bala Cynwyd-based full-service media planning and buying agency.

She has been involved with the Police Athletic League for more than a decade, serving on the Silent Auction, Public Relations, and Board Development committees. Strickler, who has served since 2008 on the PAL board, was honored in 2014 with a PAL Award in recognition of her personal dedication to the organization’s mission of “Cops Helping Kids.”

She is a board member of the Arts + Business Council of Greater Philadelphia and a member of the Philly Ad Club and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Strickler is a graduate of Rutgers College, BA in Business Administration and French. She graduated in 1982.

She and her husband, Peter, reside in Berwyn. They have two children, Pierce and Caroline.

Through the Police Athletic League, Philadelphia police officers, supported by civilians and volunteers, offer sports, educational and cultural programs to more than 18,000 at-risk youth in 17 centers in some of the city’s highest-crime and lowest-income neighborhoods.
