BHHS Fox & Roach Recognized by Guard Llama

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) Fox & Roach, REALTORS® President Joan Docktor was named by Guard Llama as one of “5 Women Changing the Face Real Estate.” Guard Llama profiled five women who success reputation and unique approach to their work have made them examples for everyone, especially women working in the industry. Guard Llama states that “finding success in the real estate industry is difficult. It is even more difficult if you are a woman.”

Docktor started with the company in 1986 as a sales associate, moved into a management position and was named president in 2013. Docktor was also recognized in the Swanepoel Power 200-Top 20 Women Leaders in 2015-16 and includes an impressive group of women who have reached the highest levels of leadership, influence, and power in the residential real estate brokerage business. A recipient of an array of awards and honors, Docktor was selected as a 2014 SmartCEO’s Brava Award winner, named as a 2014 Women of Distinction in the Philadelphia Business Journal, and listed as one of 2014’s 100 Most Influential Real Estate Executives by Real Estate Executive magazine.
