'Tragic Event:' 3 Year Old Dies After Found In Main Line Pond
A 3-year-old boy who was missing was pulled from a pond in Wilson Farm Park in Tredyffrin Township and later died.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A 3-year-old boy died after being pulled from a Main Line pond on Labor Day, according to police.
Tredyffrin Township Police were called to Wilson Farm Park for a missing 3-year-old boy at about 6:49 p.m. Monday.
Officers learned the boy was being watched by a nanny before his disappearance.

They began to search the area where the boy was last seen, and one officer found the boy unresponsive in a pond after about five minutes' time.
The officers tried to resuscitate the boy, who was taken to the King of Prussia Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia campus, where he died.

Police are still investigating the incident.
"On behalf of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, we are deeply saddened by this tragic event, and we send our deepest condolences to the child’s family," police said.
