Break Down Boxes To Avoid Potential Burglaries: Tredyffrin Police
If a crook sees the empty boxes for your new TV, gaming system, or computer, they might be tempted to target your home, police said.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – You may have lots of boxes to put out for recycling collections after the holidays. With gifts such as TVs, gaming systems, computers, and more becoming increasingly common, those items' empty boxes could cause a crook to target your home.
Tredyffrin Township Police are advising residents to break down boxes for any high-end items that you may have been gifted over the holidays when putting out recycling.
"There's no reason to let potential thieves know just HOW good you were this year," police said on Facebook. "Be sure to break down boxes of high value presents & put them out shortly before pick-up by your hauler, or take them directly to an approved drop-off facility if possible!"
