Brush Fire Breaks Out After Car Crashes Into Pole In Devon

The driver was able to get out the vehicle and was taken to Paoli Hospital after the Sunday night crash, the Berwyn Fire Company said.

DEVON, PA — A vehicle crashed Sunday night, causing a brush fire in Devon, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.

The fire company said the crash occurred at about 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 along the 700 block of Waterloo Road.

According to the fire company, crews found a vehicle crashed into a police and a brush fire burning on the side of the road.

The vehicle's driver was able to get out of the vehicle safely, the fire company said.

Crews quickly extinguished the brush fire and took the driver to Paoli Hospital for treatment.
