Brush Fire Breaks Out After Tree Falls On Wires: Berwyn Fire Co

TREDYFFRIN, PA — A tree fell on power lines, causing a brush fire, Tuesday night in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.

Firefighters were called to the 800 block of Old State Road in Tredyffrin at about 5:28 p.m. for a report of a brush fire.

Crews found a large tree that fell on power lines causing the fire, according to the fire company.

PECO was called to the scene as firefighters worked to prevent the fire from spreading through the wooded area.
