This year, the show is offering a new class known as "arena eventing" at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 28.

The $50,000 Arena Eventing Class will be the first in the show’s history and only the fourth of its kind in the world.

At the event, some of the country’s most-skilled horse and rider teams will compete in this elite class, which combines the technical challenges of cross-country riding with the speed and thrill of show jumping.

The course will require competitors to navigate 25 jumps between the Dixon Oval and Gold Ring, harkening back to Devon’s early days when the show featured an outside course and competitors had to jump into the Dixon Oval to compete.
