Camp Cadet Of Chester County Accepting Applications For 2017 Camp Now
Chester County kids will learn teamwork skills, respect, and good decision making at the camp with state trooper counselors.
Chester County kids ages 11 to 13 can now apply to be part of Camp Cadet of Chester County, which puts kids in a state police-style week long camp where they will zipline, scuba dive, see SWAT and bomb squad demonstration, and more to develop good relationships between kids and police.
"Cadets, live in an atmosphere modeled after the State Police Academy, where emphasis is placed on improving self-discipline, confidence and self-esteem," Camp Cadet's website says. "During this action-packed week, Cadets will learn teamwork and the benefits of making good decisions as well as respect for authority and each other. Cadets will be challenged to work hard from start to finish, in this highly structured program, but will also enjoy plenty of fun activities associated with a traditional summer camp."
When the camp is over, a military-style graduation will take place at the camp.
