Car Englufed In Flames Saturday: Berwyn Fire Co.

The blaze shut down part of Devon State Road as crews put the fire out.

DEVON, PA – Crews from the Berwyn Fire Company responded to a car fire over the weekend in Devon.

According to the fire company, firefighters were investigating burning brush the afternoon of Saturday, Aug. 12 in Easttown Township when they were called to a car fire in Devon at about 4 p.m.

Crews arrived to the 800 block of Devon State Road in Tredyffrin Township and found a car fully engulfed in flames, the fire company said.

Police cut off traffic access to the area between Berwyn Baptist and North Valley Forge roads and crews had the fire under control shortly, the fire company said.

Conestoga Collision towed the scorched car from the scene, the fire company said.

No one was injured in the fire.
