Car Flips On Route 202 In Wayne

The horrific looking accident had a very lucky outcome.

WAYNE, PA -- A car flipped after an accident in Wayne on Route 202 northbound Monday night, fire officials said.

The incident occurred mid-evening and was the 16th call of the day for the Berwyn Fire Company, as roads continued to prove treacherous for motorists around the region.

Officials said the car flipped near a larger snowbank in the right lane that had already caused an accident earlier in the day.

Miraculously, the driver of the red car was very lucky and only suffered minor injuries.

PENNDOT was notified of this unsafe condition and is scheduled to remedy the situation.
