TREDYFFRIN, PA — A kitten died after being thrown from a car window Friday morning in Tredyffrin Township and now police are asking for help finding the culprit.

Police were alerted to the incident at about 7 a.m. Friday.

The cat was reportedly thrown from a vehicle window on Route 202 south.

Police found the kitten on the shoulder of the road and took it to an emergency veterinarian.

The kitten sadly had to be euthanized, police said.

"This despicable and senseless act of animal cruelty is being actively investigated by the TTPD, and we’re currently following several leads based upon information obtained from witnesses who stopped to help," police said.
