Celebrate Diwali Early At Tredyffrin Public Library

The Tredyffrin Public Library is inviting the public to celebrate the Indian holiday Diwali this weekend at the library.

The celebration will feature traditional Indian dancing, food, and activities. Because Diwali is called the festival of lights, Conestoga High School students organized an exhibition of lanterns and other crafts to help support area charities.

Though the ancient Hindu holiday falls on Oct. 30, the library invited the public to visit the library's Diwali celebration Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m.
