Central Ave Closing Weekdays Through Late December: PennDOT
PennDOT said PECO work in Tredyffrin and Willistown townships will force weekday lane closures on Central Avenue through late December.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Through late December, Central Avenue in Tredyffrin and Willistown townships will be closed due to PECO work starting Tuesday, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, the road will close weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility construction.
The affected portion of road is between Valley Road and Cedar Hollow Road.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured to Valley Road, Lancaster Avenue, and Central Avenue.
This work will begin Tuesday and last through Friday, Dec. 20.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
