Chester Road Closing 2 Days For Sewer Work: Easttown Officials

Crews are completing sewer lining work along Chester Road in Easttown, forcing it to close to regular traffic for two days this week.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Sewer work on Chester Road will force its closure for two days, according to Easttown Township officials.

Contractor crews with Mr. Rehab are finishing sewer lining work on Chester Road between South Fairfield and Waterloo roads Monday and Tuesday.

Work is taking place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but is weather permitting.

Chester Road will be closed between South Fairfield and South Waterloo roads to regular traffic. Residents and local traffic will have access to the area, as needed.

One lane on South Waterloo Road will be closed at the Chester Road intersection.

The township engineer, Carroll Engineering, will have an inspector present.

Residents will be notified by the on-site inspector when the section of sewer to which they are connected is being lined and asked to limit water usage.
