Chesterbrook Academy Hosts Parade to Celebrate First Responders

Students made posters and cheered for local firefighters and EMTs to show their appreciation

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Wayne recently invited local first responders to their school for a parade, during which they cheered and displayed handmade posters with positive messages to thank firefighters and EMTs for the work they do. After the parade, the first responders spoke with students about their roles and the importance of supporting their community. In addition to the parade, students presented the first responders with cases of water and more than 300 individually packed snacks. Through this initiative, students learned the importance showing appreciation for the essential workers in their community.
