Chesterbrook Company Included On Fortune 500 List
The new Fortune 500 list was recently released, and this Tredyffrin Township-based company found itself ranked quite high on the list.
CHESTERBROOK, PA – A Chesterbrook-based company recently landed on the annual Fortune 500 list yet again.
The 64th annual Fortune 500 list has been released and it features 20 Pennsylvania companies, including AmerisourceBergen which is based right here in the Chesterbrook section of Tredyffrin Township.
The new list put AmerisourceBergen at No. 23 in its rankings.

Along with AmerisourceBergen, Comcast and Rite Aid were the highest-ranked companies in Pennsylvania.
Lincoln National in Radnor Township was also featured on the list.

AmerisourceBergen drew in $153.1 billion in revenue, according to the list.
The drug wholesaler – founded in 2001 by a merger between AmeriSource Health and Bergen Brunswig – accounted for about 20 percent of all of the pharmaceuticals sold and distributed throughout the country in 2015.
The 500 companies on the Fortune 500 list account for $12.8 trillion in revenue — two-thirds of America's gross domestic product — employ more than 28 million people across the globe. In other words, they're vital to the global economy.
Walmart topped the list for the sixth straight year and Amazon cracked the top 10.
