Conestoga Crew Club is on their way to USRowing Youth National Championships in California!
Conestoga Crew Club wraps up its outstanding 2014 Season this week by sending the seven men's and women's junior varsity and varsity crews who earned qualifying bids, to California to compete in the 2014 USRowing Youth National Championships. Conestoga Crew Club rowers, coaches and parents are flying out Wednesday evening for the trip to Lake Natoma, near Sacramento. Their boats, which were put on a trailer a few days ago for the 2,777 mile drive to California, will be waiting for them when they arrive for practice bright and early Thursday morning! USRowing Youth National Championships commence Friday, June 13, with the first heats scheduled for 8:00AM (PST). Semi-finals will be staged on Saturday, with Finals lining up at the start on Sunday, June 15.
Just because we all can't be in California cheering Conestoga rowers on, does not mean that we have to miss out on the races!
