Conestoga Graduate Found Dead in Her MIT Dorm Room
The sophomore student's death is not being investigated as a criminal matter, a Massachusetts district attorney said.

A Conestoga High School graduate who was a sophomore at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was found dead in her dorm room this week.
The death of Phoebe Wang, whose family lives in Chesterbrook, is not being investigated as a criminal matter, the Middlesex (Massachusetts) District Attorney’s Office told The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Wang was a student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, ABC said. Her death is not considered suspicious, but no additional details were released.

In a letter to students about Wang’s death obtained by WCVB, MIT President L. Rafael Reif wrote: “The death of a young person is always a shock, and in recent months we have lost too many of our cherished students and dear friends.”
