Conestoga Robotics Team Heading To World Championship Competition

The Conestoga Robotics Team 6121C will head to the 2018 VEX Robotics World Championship in Kentucky in April. Congratulations and good luck!

BERWYN, PA – Two Conestoga students are heading to a world robotics competition after strong showings at state qualifying competitions recently, Conestoga High School announced.

The Conestoga Robotics Team 6121C captain Neil Muglurmath and teammate Yash Raj will head to the 2018 VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.

The world championship will be held from April 24 through April 29 in the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Muglurmath and Raj have led the Pioneers to victory in numerous statewide competitions, the school said.

The team received the Excellence Award and was a tournament finalist at the Great Valley State Qualifier on December 15.

Then the team was recognized as the Tournament Champion, and was presented with the Excellence Award for the second straight time, at the New Foundations Charter School State Qualifier on January 12.

After being declared as the Tournament Champion at the Eastern Pennsylvania State Championship on March 3, the team declined an invitation to the national competition in Indiana in order to prepare for the World Championship
