Conestoga's (Post) Season May Come Down to Friday Night
Monday morning notes on the Conestoga Football season

seniors know what’s at stake Friday night, when Haverford High School visits at 7 p.m. The Pioneers are out of the Central League race, but still have a very strong chance of making the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA playoffs. But Conestoga needs victories over visiting Haverford High School this Friday night and at Upper Darby.
“It is do-or-die time for us, and a lot of our teammates are looking forward to this game, and I am as well,” said Pioneers’ starting right offensive tackle “The overall feeling is that we need to be focused and make sure we have all of our jobs straight. We’ll need to play close to perfect football, and Haverford High School is also 5-3 and they need this, too. The team that wins could make the playoffs, and the team that closes will be out.”
The Pioneers have played defensively all season and coming off their largest offensive output of the season, scoring a season-high 39 points in a 39-6 victory over Radnor. had a great game scoring twice for the Pioneers.
