Conestoga Senior All Stars Play 20th Annual Valor Bowl Tomorrow

Four Conestoga Seniors Are Among Valor Bowl's Selected Players

Four of Conestoga High School's Pioneer Football seniors, Thomas McGovern, Cory Nowlan, Roshaun Christopher and Matt Dempsey, will play tonight in the 20th Annual Valor Bowl, which gives the best senior high school football players in Chester, Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties a final opportunity to display their gridiron talents locally. While the game is the focal point, the beneficiary will be Special Olympics of Chester County. Fan support has been enthusiastic, and donations to Special Olympics of Chester County have exceeded the Valor Bowl founders’ expectations. The commitment exhibited by coaches and players on the field has been matched by many community sponsors, who have donated their time, financial support, or services generously in promoting the contests. Chester County has some of the best high school talent in Pennsylvania, with many players annually drawing the attention of college football recruiters. On May 31st, the young men assembled at West Chester University will perform one final time in a high school game. They and the game sponsors thank you for attending. Over the last twelve years the Valor Bowl has raised over $450,000 for Special Olympics.

Kick-off is at 7:15 pm; May 31, West Chester University' Farrell Stadium
