Conestoga Senior To Compete In International German Olympics

Best of luck.

Last year as a Conestoga Junior, Callie Maslowsky was awarded an all-expense-paid summer study trip to Germany as a National Winner of the 2015 National German Exam for High School students. Nearly 21,000 students took this exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG). Callie was among 44 students selected in the United States.

Now a Senior, Callie is among 14 of 260 successful contestants nationwide to qualify

in the difficult Second Round of the International German Language Olympics to be held in Chicago, Illinois on December 4th & 5th. She will compete in five different language skills events: reading, listening, speaking, writing and presentation.

The top two semi-finalists will go to the International finals this summer in Berlin, Germany.
