"Cool Jazz in the hot summer:" the Daniel Bennett Group concert at the Easttown Library
Renowned NYC jazz group to give free concert

On Thursday, July 30th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the Manhattan-based saxophonist Daniel Bennett will perform at the Easttown Library and Information Center. Daniel Bennett can be heard throughout the world performing his award-winning compositions on saxophone, flute, clarinet, and oboe. He will be joined by renowned guitarist Nat Janoff and master percussionist Matthew Feick on drums. The Daniel Bennett Group performs Modern Jazz, fused with elements of American Folk and experimental Classical music. The Boston Globe describes Bennett’s music as “a mix of jazz, folk, and minimalism.” The group was recently nominated as “Best Jazz Group” in the Hot House Magazine NYC Jazz Contest. They have been featured in Boston Globe Magazine, NPR, First Coast Living (NBC), Indianapolis Public Radio, and the Village Voice.
