Crash Ends Police Chase In Tredyffrin Tuesday: Berwyn Fire Co.

The fire company said the diver and sole occupant was seriously injured in the crash.

A police chase ended in a crash Tuesday in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Berwyn Fire Company. The crash happened Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Route 202 and the driver was seriously injured, the fire company said.

According to the fire company, crews were called to the area Chesterbrook Boulevard on 202 south at about 12:55 p.m. for a crash.

Pennsylvania State Police told the fire company the crash happened after police were chasing the vehicle.

Crews had to cut through a fence to get to the driver and sole occupant of the crashed vehicle, the fire company said.

The driver was taken to Paoli Hospital for treatment, according to the fire company.

The fire company said no responders or other civilians were injured in the crash.

The scene was clear by about 1:45 p.m., the fire company said.
