Easttown Boy Battling Cancer Gets Surprise Motorcade to School From Police
An Easttown boy who has been battling leukemia had a wish to ride in a police car. He got his wish, and much more.

EASTTOWN, PA -- An Easttown boy who has been battling leukemia has long held a wish to ride in a police car.
Jayson Norris had just completed a "particularly aggressive" session of chemotherapy when Easttown police showed up at his home before school one morning.
Jayson had the chance to meet officers, get into an Easttown patrol vehicle, and ride all the way to school at Beaumont Elementary as a part of a 12-vehicle motorcade. The motorcade included the Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team’s BearCat, an armored truck, Easttown police said.

"Thank you to all of the staff and students at Beaumont Elementary, Jayson’s parents and family, and to the community for helping us organize and execute this truly remarkable event," Easttown police said.
In addition to the ride, the Easttown Twp. Police Association donated an official junior police badge and custom Easttown Police power wheels to Jayson.
Get better soon, Jayson!
