Easttown Closing Offices To Public During Coronavirus Emergency

All parks will be open and collections for trash and recycling will go on as normal during, the township said.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Easttown Township officials Tuesday said it will operate under an essential employee model and cancel all meeting for the next two weeks due to the local coronavirus outbreak.

The township and its operations will close to the public and will work with minimal staffing.

Even with these measures in place, trash and recycling collections will go on as normal.

Police, fire, and EMS will operate normally, but with added protection from potential coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

All Easttown Township parks are open. However, the playground at Hilltop is closed and all comfort stations and restrooms are closed.

Additionally, the township library is closed until March 30.
