Easttown Considering Lancaster Avenue Parking Time Limits
Easttown's supervisors will hold a public meeting on potential time limits on Lancaster Avenue parking Monday, June 17.
EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Board of Supervisors in Easttown Township are eyeing time limits on parking in part of the township and are hosting a public meeting on the proposal Monday, June 17.
A public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 17 at the Easttown Township Building to consider adopting an amendment to a 1956 traffic ordinance that would limit parking at two locations on the south side of Lancaster Avenue.
The amendment would limit parking as such:

- Lancaster Avenue from Main Avenue west to 50 feet out — two-hour parking from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday; no enforcement Sundays
- Lancaster Avenue from Main Avenue east to about 455 feet out — two-hour parking from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday; no enforcement Sundays
- Two parking spots in front of 622 Lancaster Avenue — 30-minute parking 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
A copy of the proposed amendment is available for public inspection at the township building during normal business hours. It is also available here.
