Easttown Police Thank Public For Acts of Generosity, Kindness

Easttown, PA -- The public has been supporting the Easttown Township Police Department in a big way over the past week.

Police said that anonymous individuals paid for officers' breakfasts on Friday.

Then another anonymous person had several pizzas delivered to the department that same afternoon.

"These random acts of kindness, generosity, and support are truly appreciated. Please know that your thoughtfulness will always be remembered," police said in a Facebook post thanking the individuals.

The gestures came during a tough period for police around the nation as tensions rose in many areas between community members and law enforcement.
