Eat Ice Cream To Support The Berwyn Fire Company
Handel's in Berwyn will donate a portion of proceeds from its Oct. 15 sales to the fire company, so get a sundae on Sunday to help out.

BERWYN, PA – If you follow Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch, you surely know how busy the men and women of the Berwyn Fire Company are. They respond to local and national emergencies because they are committed to helping others.
And you can help them by simply by eating ice cream next week. Pretty east.
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream and Yogurt in Berwyn will donate a portion of its sales to the fire company.

All day Oct. 15, Handel's will donate 15 percent of all purchases to the fire company.
The funds will be used to pay for the efforts, training, and equipment needed to answer ambulance and fire calls made by residents in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships, the fire company said.
