This fall, your little artist is invited to join Wayne Art Center for an after-school Art Adventure! Each week we will tackle a new theme and discover new materials in this NEW series of one-hour workshops. Sign up for each individually ($15/date) or a 5-week section ($70/5 weeks).
1. Personalized Clay Plaque, October 4 4:15-5:15PM- Use clay to make and decorate a name plaque for your bedroom.
2. Dessert Painting, October 11 4:15-5:15PM- Inspired by the colorful paintings of artist Wayne Thiebauld, paint a big, bold picture of your favorite dessert.
3. Recycled Construction, October 18 4:15-5:15PM- Design and assemble your own cityscape with a variety of interesting recycled materials.
4. Halloween Wind Sock, October 25 4:15-5:15PM- Using paint, glitter, stencils and more, make a spooky decoration for the holiday.
5. Mixed-Media Jungle Scene, November 1 4:15-5:15PM- Learn a little bit about the French artist Henri Rousseau and make a jungle scene by decoupaging different kinds of colorful paper.
