The Audubon Symphony Orchestra, a 36-year-old community orchestra based in Trappe, PA, is actively seeking new musicians for its fall season. This year the orchestra is particularly seeking cellos, violas, double reeds, and a tuba. All orchestral string players are always welcome, and we have occasional openings in the brass, wind, and percussion sections. Orchestra members range in age from high-schoolers to senior citizens.
The orchestra rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 at St. Luke&rsquo;s Fellowship Church, 200 W. Main St. in Trappe, PA. No auditions are required. The orchestra plays a wide variety of music, ranging from classical to popular, and gives one public and a few private concerts each season.
