Don Hyatt has been gardening since age three. Among many other degrees, he has a BS in horticulture. He taught mathematics and computer science for more than 30 years. Now retired, he has devoted even more of his time to rhododendrons and azaleas. Don has studied the native azaleas of the eastern mountains most of his life and knows them like the back of his hand. He has also been a successful hybridizer, introducing well-known azaleas such as 'Yellow Cloud' and 'Mandarin Maid'. This is a speaker you will not want to miss, as he not only has knowledge, but wonderful pictures.
