All seven members of the Felony Lane Gang arrested after a high speed chase along the Schuylkill Expressway in March have pleaded guilty and been sentenced to prison.

The suspects include Sherry Howard, 48, of Baltimore, Maryland, Jeremy Evans, 40, of Baltimore, Maryland, Heather Miller, 29, of Baltimore, Maryland, Jeremy Espenshade, 28, of Baltimore, Maryland, Jerome Glinton, 22, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ashley Hamm, 22, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Keenon Seymour, 18, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The incident began at about 1:30 p.m. on March 1 at a parking lot on West Swedesford Road when firefighters saw a group of people altering license plates.

They called the authorities, but when they arrived on the scene, the group scrambled, according to Tredyffrin Police.

Tredyffrin Officers Ryan Scott, Dan McFarland, Don Molienux, Drew Harhut, and Mike Cermignano responded to the scene.

Police were able to apprehend three individuals at the Wendy's, officials said. However, a black Suburban fled the area, smashing into a police cruiser that was trying to barricade the suspects within the lot.

The chase continued at high speeds down Route 202 and onto the Schuylkill Expressway, with the suspects driving over 100 miles per hour, police said.

The Suburban rammed a Pennsylvania State Police cruiser once on I-76. When the SUV got stuck in traffic, two individuals inside got out of the vehicle and fled across both lanes of traffic on the highway. One of the two jumped into the Schuylkill River.

All seven suspects were eventually reeled in by authorities.

Police have little doubt they are dealing with gang activity, and have strong suspicions they were planning robberies.

"The m.o. of the group signifies their active participation in the 'Felony Lane Gang,'" said Detective Sergeant Todd Bereda with the Tredyffrin Police. "'This is a more directly criminal act, as opposed to a social group."

Evidence taken from the Suburban included various credit cards, checks, and identification cards, which police suspect were taken from stolen wallets and purses, a "hallmark" activity of the Felony Lane Gang.

No police were injured during the melee.
