TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — The former president of the Tredyffrin Easttown Historical Society died Tuesday, according to the organization.
J. Michael Morrison lost hit battle with pulmonary fibrosis Tuesday, the organization said on Facebook.
Morrison recently was presented the 2018 Ella Aderman Acorn Award for Preservation of Montgomery County History by the Historical Society of Montgomery County in November.

Morrison is a native of King of Prussia and published several books about the history of the region, helped to revive the King of Prussia Historical Society, and served as the group's president for seven years.
