Free College Essay Workshop At Tredyffrin Library Sept. 20

Do you have a college-bound high schooler? If so, this workshop could help them draft a perfect college entrance essay.

STRAFFORD, PA – Do you have a college-bound high schooler? If so, the Tredyffrin Public Library is hosting a free workshop that will help them draft a perfect college application essay.

College Application Essay Night will be held 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the library, 582 Upper Gulph Road, Strafford.

Marylyn E. Calabrese, Ph.D., writing coach and teacher will lead the workshop where college hopefuls can get expert tips on writing a stand-out essay.

Calabrese has helped thousands of students in preparing successful college application essays.

She is the former chairperson of the Conestoga High School English Department and her educational background includes an A.B. from Bryn Mawr College, an MAT from Wesleyan University, and a Ph.D. in Teaching Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
