Frozen pipes? Are you covered or not? It depends.

 Being the coldest day for decades got me thinking about frozen pipes. As a Realtor I am often reminding clients about different issues. Turning off the water to outside hoses and draining them before winter sets in is an example. However, sometimes things happen and I was talking with Nick Kiniry of Long & Foster Insurance today about insurance and frozen pipes and it lead us to discussing that you are not always covered, especially if you are an investor.
