Gas Installation Work In Tredyffrin To Last 12 Weeks
PECO will be working in the area of Old Eagle School Road for weeks to install new gas line equipment beginning Nov. 25.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO will be installing new gas lines in Tredyffrin Township starting next week, according to the utility provider.
PECO said the project will last about 12 weeks in the area of Old Eagle School Road from Lancaster Avenue to Meadowbrook Road.
Work is slated to begin Nov. 25 and occurred daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During work hours, PECO may need to temporarily shut off natural gas service for four to eight hours while as they install the new service line to homee.
Work may occur in roadways as well as on sidewalks and potentially on residential properties.

Any areas impacted on residential properties will be repaired, the streets will be repaved, and all areas will be restored to their original condition, PECO said.
PECO will begin to restore your property in the month after the work is done.
Work to repair and repave area roadways will begin within 45 days after the work is done, weather permitting.
PECO said residents will need to provide access to their natural gas appliances or equipment in homes so they can perform this work, and later that day to restore service and relight any appliances. PECO will also be relocating any indoor natural gas meters to the exterior of homes.
