Get Ready To Rock: Rocktberfest Coming Berwyn Saturday

Berwyn's 30 Main hosting "the live music event of the year" Saturday, Oct. 22 with Rocktoberfest.

The event will feature 17 bands on three stages with genre's ranging from blues, to pop rock, to classic rock, to jazz, to acoustic.

Bands performing include School Of Rock, Don't Quit Your Day Job, Silver Rain, Former Strangers, Russ Lambert and The Shake Dance Band, James Felice Experience, Beg Borrow and Steel, Flipside Jontourage, and more. Special appearances include Greg Davis and Wally Smith and Coast 2 Coast.

Advance general tickets for the festival are just $10 and $15 at the door on Saturday. But if you want to splurge and get access to a two-hour food and drink package, tickets cost $35. VIP packages that include top shelf liquor open bar and food are $80.

Ten percent of the event's proceeds will benefit the Foundation for Learning In Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE). Additional donations to FLITE are accepted.

The event begins at noon and goes deep into the night, with the last performances schedule to end at 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23.

Oktoberfest beers, wienerschnitzel, sausage, sauer kraut, and more Oktoberfest favorite will be available at the event, as well.

Attendees under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. 30 Main is located at 660 Lancaster Ave., Berwyn.
