Getting Their Licks in for VFES
Valley Forge Elementary School students show their school spirit by eating custard, burgers, brats and cheese curds.
Students and parents from Valley Forge Elementary School got their licks in for a fundraiser at Jake's Frozen Custard in Paoli Monday. VFES is one of a dozen schools and organizations who are partnering with Jake's for fundraisers this year.
In addition to custard, students enjoyed burgers, brats, and cheese curds in the Wisconsin themed shop. What's a cheese curd? Jake's owner Missy Shaw tackles that question in a new TE Patch local voices blog.
