Glenhardie Road Bridge Open After 2.5-Year Closure

The Glenhardie Road Bridge opened this week after being closed for two-and-a-half years due to a Pennsylvania Turnpike Project.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Glenhardie Road is open again in Tredyffrin Township after a two-and-a-half year closure, officials said.

The road opened at 2 p.m. Monday after being closed Pennsylvania Turnpike Project, which was completed in late September.

Work to replace the Glenhardie Road Bridge over Trout Creek began in September.

The township contractor will return in the spring to do some vegetative plantings, line painting, and staining of the wall on the bridge.
