Historical Registration at No Cost to 29 Property Owners
Board of Supervisors Includes Historical Registration Fees as Part of Twp Services

Tredyffrin’s Board of Supervisors approved a motion to include the initial recording fees for 29 historical properties within the township, as part of the township’s services, during their monthly meeting, held on Monday, July 18, at the Municipal Building.
The cost to the Township, will be $28.50 per property registration, totaling $826.50. A previously reported cost to the board of $300 per property was found to be incorrect.
Help from Township Solicitor Thomas Hogan‘s firm in filing the paperwork at no cost to the Township, will also help to bring down the costs.

Though property owners had already been notified as to their historical eligibility, a second communication will be sent out, detailing the newly agreed upon process of historical registration.
Property owners will receive a declaration in the mail that will need to be completed, signed, notarized and returned to the township for the official registration to be complete.
