ICYMI: Berwyn Church Raises Furor With 'Black Lives Matter' Sign

BERWYN, PA - A Main Line church is facing an uproar after they posted a Black Lives Matter sign on their lawn, according to a report.

The Central Baptist Church in Wayne’s “Undoing Racism” committee posted the sign as a vigil on the one-year anniversary of the death St. Louis-area teen Michael Brown, Main Line Media News.

The vigil pleased some passerby, but several individuals heckled the event, and sent in angry responses, the report states.

One woman driving by yelled “all lives matter,” the report states.

Organizers at the church said they were planning on taking the banner down after the incident, but the negative response motivated them to keep it up.
