Kampf Issues Statement on Gov's Call for Pension Reform

Rep. Warren Kampf (R-Chester/Montgomery) on Thursday issued the following statement on Gov. Tom Corbett’s call for the state Legislature to again work to pass reforms to the state’s unsustainable public pension systems: 

“I have been a strong proponent of pension reform from the day I joined the Legislature, and have refused a pension myself to lead by example.

“Common sense reforms are needed to help the state, school districts, students and taxpayers.  I hope this action will help build the coalition needed to pass these vital reforms.”
