With August here, it's almost time for school to start. We have some of the most important dates Tredyffrin/Easttown families need to know.
WAYNE, PA – With August upon us, it's time to start thinking about the new school year (sorry kids). With that in mind, we gathered some of the most important upcoming dates for families in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District to help you stay up to speed.
Here are some of the key dates you and your students need to know ahead of the new year.
- Monday, Aug. 28 – First Day of School, first through 12th grades
- Monday, Sept. 4 – Labor Day, no school
- Tuesday, Sept. 5 – Kindergarten first day of school
- Thursday, Sept. 21 – Islamic New Year, Rosh Hashanah, no school
- Friday, Nov. 3 – End of first marking period
- Tuesday, Nov. 7 – Staff in-service day, no school
- Monday, Nov. 20 – Early dismissal (12:20 p.m.) for first through fourth grades, no Kindergarten
- Tuesday, Nov. 21 –Early dismissal for elementary (12:20 p.m.) and middle school (11:40 a.m.), no Kindergarten
- Wednesday, Nov. 22 - Monday Nov. 27 – Thanksgiving Break
- Monday, Dec. 25 - Monday, Jan. 1 – Winter break
