Lane On US 422 Closing Thursday In Tredyffrin

PennDOT said closing the lane will let crews install construction access roads and guide rails as part of a turnpike improvement project.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A lane on U.S. Route 422 in Tredyffrin Township is closing this week due to various work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike is closing the left lane of westbound Route 422 Thursday.

The lane will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday between U.S. 202 and First Avenue in Tredyffrin and Upper Merion townships.

Closing the lane will allow crews to install construction access roads and guide rails under a project to widen and improve the Pennsylvania Turnpike between milepost 324 and milepost 326.

Motorists should allow extra time for travel through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
