Learn To Ace College Application Essays At Tredyffrin Library
Attendees will learn what to avoid, how to master tone, and what topics to focus on in college applications.

Applying to college can be overwhelming, difficult, and time consuming, especially for today's busy high school students. And the Tredyffrin Library wants to make the application process a little easier for students through a college application workshop, Mastering The College Application Essay, tonight at the library.
From 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Marylyn Calabrese, Ph.D., writing coach and former head of the English Department at Conestoga High School will share examples of past student essays, original and revised to help college applicants see what makes a college essay effective.
Those who attend will be schooled on the essentials of a successful essay, the best topics, the most appropriate tone, and what to avoid when crafting an application essay.
