Learn The Best College Admission Tactics At Tredyffrin Libraries

Ensure you get into your No. 1 school.

Tredyffrin Township Libraries are hoping to clear up any misconceptions the public might have regarding college applications, which can be herculean to complete and feel confident about.

The library is hosting four, 4 p.m. Sunday sessions – Feb. 5, Feb. 12, Feb. 19, and Feb. 26 – that hope to "demystify" college applications.

Wynnewood resident and former Swarthmore College Assistant Dean and Admissions Counselor Cigus Vanni will review the process and give valuable tips for students and parents alike.

Each session, Vanni will cover a different aspect of the college admission process and will help applicants cater to what admissions committees are looking for in students; match interests abilities, values and even karma to the right college; and discuss the financial aspect of the admissions process.

The sessions are intended to be a series, so make sure you attend all four to have the perfect college application. The sessions are all free and registration is not required.

The library system does not sponsor nor endorse the sessions, which are intended to augment — rather than supplant or substitute for — high school guidance efforts, according to the library's website.
